2. I have seen these two bands so many times in the past 10 years that I have lost count.
Why do these facts matter? Because last night, I stood transfixed at the sight of Andrew McMahon's hair. Yea. Seriously. I spent a good majority of the show just staring at his hair, it looked THAT good. And this is important because in the 10 years I've been going to see this guy play his piano, I have never once thought to myself, "Wow, that guy has great hair!" Someone went and got themselves an amazing hairstylist. It was that perfect combination of rockstar/preppy/conservative with a little bit of "I don't give a sh*t what my hair looks like" thrown in. Over the years I've seen his hair long, short, black, blond, clean shaven, and bushy beard, and it's always looked cool. But last night he hit the jackpot in the hair department. Oh, and also, the music was awesome as always.
Gentlemen, think your haircut doesn't matter? THINK AGAIN! Other than the fact that he's a lead singer in a band, had I met the guy in a bar I probably still would have drooled over his hair, and then asked him where he got it done. It was perfection.
So yes, my dear male population, women do pay attention to your hair. It doesn't have to be styled perfectly, but please invest in a good cut, a product or two, and make sure your hairline doesn't run into your backhair. Nobody likes a wolfman.
