I tell my clients, I don't care where you buy it and how much it costs, but you HAVE to put something on your hair before you put all that heat on it! Many people skip this step, and it's an important one! You want something protecting your hair from the damage you're inflicting on it, so get out there and buy something already!!
John Frieda makes a great heat spray (for around $8), I've used it in the past, and lately I've just been using this Garnier shine spray. It's been doing it's job, and for $4 is a pretty decent price.
